Oakridge Centre coming soon (2024)
The new Oakridge development project will be the biggest development in Vancouvers history. The 574,000-square-foot shopping centre, which sits on 28 acres of land will be transformed into a major 4.5 million square foot hub of retail, residential, workspace, parks, and civic space. Included will be a massive community centre, public library, performance facility, dance academy, daycare, culinary experiences, a park, office space, and residential towers that will house about 6,000 people in more than 2,600 homes.

David Lloyd George Elementary
Lloyd George Elementary School is significant for its aesthetic, historical and continued social value.
It has long-standing and continuous value for its presence as a landmark, for the grounds as a park and playground, and for extensive use of the building for community activities to such an extent that the school is nicknamed the Honourary Mayor of Marpole.
Sir Winston Churchill Secondary
One of two International Baccalaureate schools, and one of three French Immersion secondary schools in Vancouver. It’s fed by the surrounding elementary schools in its catchment area. Churchill has the largest student body population in district 39 with about 2000 students in the campus.
It also offers the IB certificate program, which allows students in the regular BC provincial curriculum to take part in IB courses.
